From my own experience, it’s when I try my hardest to be strong – exhibiting my idea of strength, anyway – that I am the most brittle. In my brittleness, I easily break. However, as I learned again that evening, it is in my gentleness that others see power and strength in me.

I Believe in Love: An evening with Elton John
Two simple words. Spoken to people in response of the misery they continually dump into my my life – my ears, my mind, my heart, my spirit. People who refuse to deal with their problems partly because they usually have a sympathetic listener in me. As soon as I feel my eyes glaze over, the words slip out…

Song & Verse: ALL OF ME by John Legend
Recently, I heard John Legend sing his new single, All of Me, live on David Letterman. The song took me away. A beautiful and emotionally eloquent expression of love. Song & Verse: I LOVE THE LORD
We love each other because God loved us first. If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And He has given us this command: Those who love God must alsoContinueContinue reading “Song & Verse: I LOVE THE LORD”
