But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being[d] might boast in the presence of God. And because of him[e] you are in Christ Jesus, who became to uswisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” {Click to read chapter.}

Letters of the Bible: James Writes to the Twelve Scattered Tribes
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace…. Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. {Click the link to read the full post.}
The older I get, the less I worry about relationships.
As I have matured, I have become more confident with all I have to offer as a human being, as a woman, as a friend, as a worker. There’s no need for me to chase anybody or anything. God is my supplier. {Click to read full post.}
Try showing up.
The most empowering and spiritually edifying moments, during this same period, are those times when I showed up for myself. Those moments when God instructed me to do something — usually something that seemed outrageous to me and perhaps appeared crazy to the world — and I took Him at His word and did as I was told. Those moments have provided me with the most profound LIFE lessons of all.
Women in the Bible: VIRTUOUS WOMAN of PROVERBS 31
With all her responsibilities, first and foremost, she looks to God. Her primary concern is God’s will in her life. She is a woman after God’s own heart. Let’s examine the characteristics of this remarkable woman — a role model for Christian women today.
“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” The Hebrew word chayil, translated here “noble,” or “virtuous” (KJV), means a wife of valor — a strong, capable woman with strong convictions. This description of the ideal wife does not agree with those who associate femininity with weakness and passivity.

Women in the Bible: DEBORAH
“Some have tried to understand God’s selection of Deborah by reasoning that he could not find any man suitable for the job, so he was forced to use Deborah.
While this reasoning may serve to keep male egos intact, it ignores the testimony of Scripture. God is able to use whoever he wants. He does not appoint leaders by using human criteria.
When Samuel considered Eliab a suitable successor to King Saul, God corrected Samuel’s limited perception: “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).”
A Foolish Woman vs. A Wise Woman
What good is a foolish woman? What good is a wise woman?
One leads the unsuspecting to death. The other shows the way to life. It’s important to be able to tell the difference.
Seduced by the Enemy, Part 2: “Who sent you?”
The people in your life that operate as enemies may not come at you with guns blazing. They may not even realize that their momentary role in your life is contrary to God’s plan for you and His instructions to you. You are responsible for knowing what God has for you and what He has told you to do. You are further responsible for acting in accordance to that knowledge. So when people come at you with their agenda, which will ALWAYS be contrary to God’s agenda for your life, you need to be able to identify them as the enemy – in that moment they are against you and your purpose.
