God promises to bring Israel back to Him and restore them as if they had never been rejected. "Though I scattered them among the nations, yet in far countries they shall remember me, and with their children they shall live and return."

ACAD – Rejected: Hosea 4

Israel's unfaithfulness to God is liked to adultery. He rejects their children. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

ACAD – Rejected: Isaiah 53

Prophesy of Jesus’s rejection and execution by the people. Who has believed what we have heard? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? "He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity; and as one from whom others hide their faces He was despised, and we held Him of no account. Surely He has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted."

Woe to the wicked. "Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will become rotten, and their blossom go up like dust; for they have rejected the instruction of the Lord of hosts, and have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel."

Day of the Lord will diminish the pride of man. "For the Lord of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up and high; against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up; and against all the oaks of Bashan; against all the high mountains and against all the lofty hills; against every high tower, and against every fortified wall; against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the beautiful craft."

ACAD – Rejection: Ezekiel 5

Jerusalem's disobedience in the sight of surrounding nations that had always rejected God's statutes receives a punitive sentence. "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are all around you, and have not walked in my statutes or obeyed my rules, and have not even acted according to the rules of the nations that are all around you, therefore... Behold, I, even I, am against you. And I will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations."
