Take a break to praise your Creator. Stomp it out. Scream it out. Shake it out. Release the tensions and frustrations binding you in this climate of intentional terror. For those of us who are awake belong to the day. We are to “put on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.”

We can hold our thoughts up to a greater truth. For me today, that Truth is the Word of God. In my youth, that truth was what I thought of myself – or who I knew myself to be.
I asked to be a lover…
I didn’t comprehend the magnitude of what I was asking. I thought I was ready to love. I thought I was ready for love to work through me. I thought all I needed to do was be a willing vessel… remain open… offer myself – my humanity – and my resources… and give what is needed when it’s needed. I thought the resistance to love would only be temporary – so short term as to be unremarkable.
