This playlist has been on my mind for about three weeks. The world is vile. People are making decisions and destroying lives in the name of populations of people who will bear the shame of memory for generations.
We must remember WHO IS bigger than everything. Remember none of this is new. Remember a way through has already been made. Remembering where your strength comes from will preserve you for another day.
Every generation of humans has had members who attempted to usurp God’s authority and presence in the lives of The People. Yet God has, and will continue to prevail. He will not be mocked. And those who use His name to work against Him cannot succeed against Him.
Take a break to praise your Creator.
Stomp it out. Scream it out. Shake it out. Release the tensions and frustrations binding you in this climate of intentional terror. For those of us who are awake belong to the day. We are to “put on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.” (1 Thessalonians 5:7-8) Who’s to say we weren’t prepared for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14)
Gird yourselves. We are in battle. And the enemy is announcing himself and his intentions loudly.
