I’m pleased to share I’m a featured artist during Gallery Night MKE at Nō Studios on October 17 & 18, 2025. This will be my first gallery show in Milwaukee and I’m quite looking forward to it!
The featured work is from my 360MKE and Juneteenth Series.
- 360MKE is a perspective study of landmarks and locations I’ve been visiting for four years. The goal was to capture various lighting, weather, seasons and angles. The inspiration was my return to Milwaukee after sixteen years away. Upon my return, I realized I had never simply enjoyed the city, specifically the lakefront, while growing up here. I set out to experience Milwaukee with fresh eyes. Like a tourist, by visiting several spots along the lakefront to rest, reflect, and to photograph.
- Juneteenth is a way for me to mine my body of work for themes that highlight or feature the African Diaspora in the United States. I began the series in 2022 with three composite images. 2025 feature images from Kamala Harris’s DNC rally in Milwaukee.
On Friday, October 17, I’ll be at the gallery to talk about my displayed photography. I’ll also have a vendor space with a wide range of my work, including smaller prints sized for cubicle walls, and greeting cards for all seasons.
Nō Studios will keep my photography on display throughout the season.
All my displayed images are available for purchase. In many cases, I can accommodate orders for preferred paper type/size prints and framing options.
I would love to see you. Stop by. Take a look. Gift yourself. Gift others.
