Reflection Journal, Day 29

What is one thing (place, time, experience) you would like to return to with the knowledge you have today? What do you think you would do differently?

My revelations and reflections on re-cycling through life are below.

Cycling Towards Fullness

TLDL:
  • 3:15/5:15 – How will doing XYZ be different at 50 than it was at 30?
  • 4:15 – It was just a life choice.
  • 4:20 – Initial fear: not being able to return to my family when needed? Next fear: How do I survive alone?
  • 5:30 – The difference: Now I know who I am. What’s different? I’m different.
  • 6:30 – Revelation: I didn’t think I was a person – whole, me. I was seeking to learn about myself.
  • 7:15 – Revelation: Fear, uncertainty and lack of self-knowledge are no longer my foundation or drivers.
  • 8:50 – I just had to make a decision to choose the thing in persistently in my face.
  • 9:15 – I decided I was done with it instead.
  • 10:35 – Realizing how much of my past was focused on death. My mother, dad, a sister and two brothers are deceased. I have one living sibling.
  • 11:24 Referenced sermon: Don’t let the funeral fool you! By Steven Furtick
  • 13:55 – Lesson: Don’t block yourself.
  • 14:20 – Lesson: Don’t be afraid of re-cycling or returning through your life.
  • 14:55 – Nothing ends: life is a spiral or funnel depending on view.
  • 15:19 – Referenced author: Robert Monroe (Far Journeys, Ultimate Journey, Journey Beyond)

I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10)
