Photo Challenge, Week 30: Still Life – Time TGIF! 2014 Photo Challenge Week 27: Nature & Wildlife – RED, WHITE and BLUE I set up at the park with the intention of trying to catch some birds in flight. No birds, but a lot of airplanes… and one of the best sunsets I’ve been able to capture. Explored local editing (to lighten the flag) and watermarking in Lightroom 5. Week 26 Keeping it simple on the minimalism… i.e. giving up for the day. Played with my shutter and aperture settings on this and also tried multiple finishes is Lightroom and Photoshop Elements. This is a combination of the High Key and Lo Key finishes (didn’t plan that pun) in PS Elements. Sony A33, 35mm, f 4.5, 1/60 sec, ISO 500
