Happy Thoughts in the Morning

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever, who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners.  ~ Psalm 146:5-7 NKJV

Ok, so, I wanted to write something happy. I wanted to pass on a measure of my joy.

Life is good. It’s great, actually! Each and every day is full of so much promise. I see the work of the Lord in my life and I am amazed! I’m grateful, appreciative and humble. Maybe at the end of this year I’ll draw a picture of the big moves He has made in a seemingly short period of time (long in the process; short in the lookback). But for now suffice it to say: You don’t know me! I’m not the same girl I used to be! {She laughs!} I’m becoming this awesome creation in Christ and the experience is both spellbinding and freeing at the same time.

I have no worries, no concerns. I know who is for me, with me and guiding me. I know His plans for me are greater than any I can concoct for myself. I know my absolute best for myself is merely a drop in the bucket of His best for me. I’ve been in continual thanksgiving and praise this year because I’m so grateful and appreciative for all that the Father is gracing my life with. His mercy and generosity are legendary – so grand the horizon can’t even give it proper scope. Mine is a magnificent life and I pray you recognize yours is just as much so! My Father has prepared me for many years to receive His gifts this day, this month, this year. I happily and eagerly receive my blessings with an open heart and embracing arms.

God’s love and blessings to you!

Happy are the people who are in such a state; happy are the people whose God is the LORD!  ~Psalms 144:15 NKJV

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding… ~ Proverbs 3:13 NKJV

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.  ~Proverbs 16:20 NKJV
