2014 Photo challenge Week 8: Birds in flight March 2, 2014 “Coming in for a landing” This is my first challenge and I must say I took a lot of mental notes of things I need to study to get more comfortable with my camera. Looking forward to learning from you all.
2014 Challenge, Week 12: Nature & Wildlife – Buds Last week, I couldn’t find any buds or leaves anywhere. This week, I ended up taking photos of the flowers in the grocery store, but luckily before I posted that cop-out, I discovered that the first tulips I’ve ever planted were pushing through on the patio. smile emoticon Taken w excitement on my Samsung Galaxy 3, w some filter treatment to enhance the mulch!

2014 Photo Challenge Week 27: Nature & Wildlife – RED, WHITE and BLUE I set up at the park with the intention of trying to catch some birds in flight. No birds, but a lot of airplanes… and one of the best sunsets I’ve been able to capture. Explored local editing (to lighten the flag) and watermarking in Lightroom 5.
